Al has served as a CISO for several VC backed scale-ups and PE owned companies as well as cybersecurity leadership roles in organizations such as GE, Kaiser Permanente and Oracle. Al is also a co-founder of SVCI, a CISO investment syndicate whose mission is to drive the next wave of cybersecurity innovation by backing early-stage startups.
At Notable Al helps cybersecurity portfolio companies achieve market leadership by providing strategic guidance in key areas such as security program development, product-market fit, go-to-market strategy, and strengthening ties with the security practitioner community to gain deeper insights into their challenges and needs. Al holds a B.S. in Engineering from San Jose State University and several industry credentials.
